The doll's origins
Date TBDFound in the rubble of an abandoned Garlean storehouse in the Bozjan Southern Front, Cecyl
appears to be the product of one of the Empire's many many experiments.
The dolls ability to manipulate aether seems to be a side project from the resonant project
being developed at the same time, the Empires researchers deciding to focus on making super
soldiers rather than new autonomous ones.
Luckily for the resistance this meant it was left with memories wiped and no allegiance to
either side, sympathetic to the occupied resistance as it understood the horrors of the
Empire.
After helping the resistance eventually push back and regain control Cecyl left to explore,
starting in the east with Doma and Kugane then moving west towards eorzea. Searching for
information about itself and the world, excited at every new experience it has and fact it
learns.
Their wide variety of experiences and knowledge have shaped their combat style. Combat banks
from its original programming leave it proficient with a greatsword, but working with the
resistance makes its swordsmanship more like a gunblade user, and when it finally got to
eorzea they learnt how to channel chakra with the monks meaning it uses its fists and sword
interchangibly.
